This came out of the Monster Mountain sessions, for a long time it was going to make the cut, but it was just a bit unwieldy as it is basically what I call a "jam" tune where I just keep adding stuff to it as I saw fit. (The next track takes that to the extreme.) Ultimately the decision to cut this from MM made that album's sequencing work a lot better, so this has been hanging around since then. I still liked what I was doing here though, so it was a prime candidate for this particular set.
